Directions From Dublin Airport

the nenagh road isn’t bad and you avoid tullamore

He could contract covid unfortunately…

Definitely

Madness. He needs to stick to good roads. Tip away up (@Locke) to the motorway east of Galway and you’re on the M6 to Kilbeggan and tis only a driver and a 5 iron to Mullingar from there.

I have heard Mullingar is the Dingle of the midlands

Thats Moate

Bollox, whats Mullingar so?

I normally go down the M6 towards Galway and tip down from there when I’m heading to the home house, boring but only 2 hours door to door on the motorway, I would nearly advise that way for you from where you live to tip out through the tunnel and you’re on a motorway until you turn off at Tyrellspass and a good road into Mullingar from there only 10 minutes. @anon67715551 was almost there except it’s a terrible road in from Kilbeggan. Portlaoise to Tullamore is a desperate road.

Who is responsible for de-icing? Is it the airport or the airline?

Who’s responsible for de-icing the gates/stands and steps used by aircraft

If you fly Aer Lingus from Dublin you enter through the tunnel so there’s no steps. If you fly Ryanair, the front steps actually come out from the plane itself. So it’s an N/A on both counts.

The tunnel actually moves and can get frozen
