Does whiskey go off after its been open for a bit?

Happy World Whiskey Day gents :tumbler_glass:

Yes

@Mac on it early

Start as you mean to go on

I was at a socially distanced gathering of a small number of pals all within the 5k and one of the pals produced a bottle of Dubliner 10 year old. It was smooth and very nice.

I know absolutely nothing about whiskey but had a nice drop of this last night and woke up fresh as a daisy this morning.

It was lovely tack.

You never told us you had pals.

I seriously need to stay away from this thread or I’ll fall off the wagon

Method and Madness - the cheapest one. Tis only gorgeous. A tiny bit bit of ice (1-2 small blocks max)takes the cut off it and makes it very smooth. Very underrated. Not at Black Barrel levels but not far behind

Jameson Crested for 28 notes in Tesco today. Actually prefer it to the Black Barrell.

I’m the same as yourself. I think it’s far superior.

Jaysus stop

Is it just me or is the Jamesin caskmates stout an absolutely smashing drink for the price? Just had 2 glasses of it there and I really enjoy it.

Of all the cunts posting here @Fagan_ODowd is the only one I’d like to fall into company with in the strand.

Was there someone on here (maybe @Spidey) who had found a way of getting whiskey delivered through Amazon or Parcel Motel?

I’ve ordered Green Spot on Amazon UK to be delivered to an NI Parcel Motel post box. Then it is delivered for around a fiver to the nearest Parcel Motel box or for eight you can get home delivery.

Parcel Motels site says they won’t handle booze though. Is it because it’s from Amazon in fairly bland packaging you can get away with it? And did you have to pay any duty on it then?
