Dublin Pubs - Hall of Fame

I’ll see you in Ryan’s in 2027.

There are a lot of Ryan’s in Dublin. Let me know which one you’re in so I go to a different one.

There is only one Ryan’s.

It’s an odd life the COVID disciples live.

Generally for Dubliners Ryan’s would be Parkgate Street.

They are all a bit clichéd.

Its more like a list from the lonely planet

Most of them are touristy , literary bore type places

Dan Lowrys, the Shelbourne and the corner house

A fierce Southside bias from Roy. I’d say he never drank in a salt of the earth pub in his life

Roy is a Kimmage man - confession box is furthest north he’d venture only if Briodys was closed. Be interesting to see what cathedral of stout makes the top

Never heard of “two sister’s” before

I was just thinking the same, the man hasn’t tried anywhere new anyway. I mean I like Doheny’s it’s grand, but top 21 bars in Dublin?

The bank isn’t even a real bar.

The Dame Tavern is just a novelty really. A nothing place

It’s a wonder O’Donoghues isn’t there, he’s bang on there though. Cunt of a place.

I didn’t know Roy was interested in literature?

Ah here dame tavern is a great spot.

I would have said its the most non touristy of all the pubs listed

It’s a grand spot to sink points and watch racing’s.

The Hut in Phibsboro is the best pub in Dublin. Pints are class, big tellys, racing on during the day then soccer at night.
