Dublin V Cork All Ireland Hurling SmeiFinal

Daly should have brought on Oisin gough today for Corcoran

+1

It was fairly loose today, particularly in midfield. What made 2009 so special is that it had today’s tempo but with serious pressure put on the man in possession. When Cork moved it fast today they looked good, but had little pressure on them. The few times the Dubs got amongst them they forced scoring turnovers.

Agreed

Cork will not lose an AI final to whoever wins next weekend.
Would not disagree with that.

It’s clear from the way cork players celebrated that they simply didn’t expect to get to the final and have over achieved

There will be a vacancy in Clare soon for him.

Donal Moloney and Gerry O’Connor will be the next in line for the Clare gig

James Owens receiving rightful praise from The Sunday Game panel. He’s the best hurling referee in the world and facilitates excellent games.

If Kevin Kennedy can beat the maggies in the junior c final he’s a shoe in puke

Ollie Moran has been a great addition to the Sunday game panel this year.

James Owens receiving harsh criticism from The Sunday Game panel. He’s the best hurling referee in the world and facilitates excellent games.

Agreed. That cunt Brennan is a hypocritical cunt, fan of “honest hurling” my hole.

If Liam Rushe doesn’t get Man of the Match the concept should be scrapped .

Sutcliffe was Dublin’s best player. Some Cork cunt will get it though.

I don’t think he did much to facilitate the game. The players facilitate the game by not fouling to excess.

Cork number 8 has it wrapped up.
These Dublin players all have a history of winning Leinster titles at underage level and then shitting the course in the semi-finals or final against shit teams who nonetheless have the crucial advantage of being from “hurling counties”. They’ll do it again on Sunday. I can feel it in my bones.

Cork by 4 or 5.

If Dublin are to win they’ll have to do it like against Galway, physically bully Cork and get a decent lead. I don’t see that happening and I think the Cork half-back line will have enough to deal with Keaney and the other Dublin forwards.

If the game is in any way close I expect Cork’s superior hurling craft and innate Corkness to win it for them.

I feel the five week break will have seriously disrupted Dublin’s momentum while Cork have had two matches in that time. They also have superior scoring threats from play.
Cork 1-19
Dublin 0-18
Largely on the money.

He is the most indisciplined player in inter county hurling. You are wasting your time if you think you are going to go through a season without him letting you down.

No surprise to see Maguire fuck up for the Cork goal either. He is a very overrated goalkeeper. Anthony Nash on the otherhand is a class act
