The place @Spidey recommended there looks the finest and a grand location. Meeting my Canadian cousin (in her 50s) and her daughter (early 20s) in Dublin tomorrow evening for a few pints.
Should have added that I’ll be meeting them at the Palace. Same cousin went for twenty minutes of touristing around Trinity off the plane today and has been in Kehoes since.

Ok watch out for the steps up from the jacks. They have some sharp protruding bits that can rip your shoes on the upstep.
