Some good news at last

Not the worst I’ve seen!

Looks OK to me, I must listen to some Tame Impala to see what they’re like.

Great to see a local lad on the list there in Kean Kavanagh, good on him and them.

Thats a very decent list.

Snow Patrol and Fontaines and Gang of Youths

I have heard of Jeff Mills and Khruangbin. Both are very good but the notion of seeing either down the bill in a field in Laois wouldn’t appeal. I have also heard of Sleaford Mods but I wouldn’t go to see them if I had 10 lifetimes. Tame Impala are very highly regarded but they play indoor gigs here quite regularly.

I would have thought you’d appreciate Sleaford Mods.

I don’t. I don’t care for them at all.

No Luke O Neill, no Sam McConkey.

Sold out.

Caught them live once. Great show. One of the lads has perhaps the only job I could ever do in a live band. He presses play on the laptop and slurps back on a few tins of lager.

Not a huge fan of their recorded output. It’s grand. But they’re a good beast live.
