Youâre a good lad to be watching out for your toxic band of brothers. Iâve a real life friend who did the same for me. A pal is someone who puts money back in your pocket.
Prices should be falling soon
The timing is tricky. ⌠Any fella coming off a discount in early 2023 needs to do a serious deep dive here in the gas futures data.
The discounts are always a percentage off of the current unit price so it shouldnât mean you need to move early. You should get a similar discount from a new provider when you switch
Its starting to look like the energy crisis was another cod
As usual weâll be months behind everyone else.Diesel is still 2.00 euro.Green diesel is still way too dear.
Weâll be gouged because we donât do social protest⌠The french would burn the country down
Sure what sort of energy would you be using anyway if youâre just sitting on a laptop and a screen while WFH? Iâm not going to have all the lights in the house on, eat cold lunches and have the underfloor heating set to a constant so Iâm not burning energy all day trying to warm the place. Can throw on a 4F hoodie (Cc @Rocko) if itâs a bit chilly indoors but the room is set to 20c so itâs perfectly fine. Any lad blaming WFH for high energy bills is wasting energy; besides, itâs probably offset by not paying the price of commuting to work.
Iâd rather be in this place then spending all my Saturdayâs doing the weekâs laundry like @TheUlteriorMotive . That sounds like existing, not living.
Energia were offering 41% off their unit price six months ago. Theyâve increased the unit rate 3 times since and are now offering 10% discount for new customers. This will hardly be better in a few months.
You might as well fire your money in the bin.
What exactly are the benefits of these smart meters? Why is there such a push towards them for all households?
Reminds me, I must order in oil there and some coal this week. This mild weather wonât last much longer.
If Sleepy Eamon and his buddy @thesleepygiant had let us build an LNG facility we would be able to add Gas to the network for ridiculously cheap.
Fortunately the rest of Europe isnât half as stupid as our lot so we should benefit by accident
We canât afford to burn anything with the price of fuel
another form of state control via the backdoor
Will the energy companies be as quick to drop prices for those in contract as they were to raise them?
Bord na Mona briquettes will be over 9 euro a bale in the new year.
Wood Pellets continue to rise - 15kg varies from 11 euro to 14 euro a bag.
Eco Wood briquettes had a recent increase retailing now around 9 euro.
Thereâs zero carbon tax on wood products.
How much catrbon tax on the other items
BnM Briquettes approx a euro a bale CT plus VAT. So 1.14 approx currently.
that all? they need to raise it, people should be punished for poisoning children
