ENGLAND Supporters Thread - World Cup 2014

Big.

Game.

Player.

Lets put an end to this talk about needing a favour from Italy. I don’t want anything from those Benito Mussolini band of fascists.

Aw diddums.

[SIZE=6]Roy Hodgson: ‘Teams will dread playing England at World Cup finals’

God has left his heaven. Today is such a day. A black, mid-winter June sky, the oxen scattered as they vainly try to find shade under the fallen British oak, the reek from a million barbeques quenched and washed away.

And England ending its World Cup endeavour.

Credible draw against the group winners from a largely second string team to finish the campaign. A clean sheet in Belo Horizonte is a marked improvement on the fate that befell England the last time they played a competitive fixture in Belo Horizonte.

There have been some crushing disappointment over the last 10 days and the lads deserved a lot more from the positivity they have shown in this campaign. These experiences will stand them in good stead for the upcoming Euro campaign and I would expect a serious assault on the title in France in 2016 from this young and emerging side.

That performance in Belo Horizonte demonstrates that there is a beautiful horizon ahead for English football.

Qualification for France all but assured after tonight’s win. Harry Kane’s emergence will be a serious addition to England’s title assault in France next summer.

Jack Wilshere is eligible for this summer’s European U-21 Football championships

Our girls are currently taking part in their World Cup semi-final against Japan, live on BBC1.

0-0 after 20 minutes, in Edmonton, Canada.

I expect our height advantage over the Nips to prove crucial.

It’s now 1-1.

Two penalties apiece.

We’ve just equalised.

Our women’s team is considerably better than the Eire men’s team.

A real World War II flavour to these semi-finals with the USA beating Germany last night.

Some butch lesbian doing analysis here at half-time.

Let’s hope our rising daughters can down the rising sun in the second half.

Disgraceful dive from the english girl. Disgraceful racism from @Sidney.
Come on the Large Pink!

With Canada out, there is significant local support for the motherland at the appropriately named Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton.

Lady Englanders cramping up left and right.

Almost a Ronalinho vs Seaman -esque goal there for the Three Lionesses.

Ref riding the Japanese lasses.
