Epl 2011/2012

:lol:

That bet was a great spot in fairness to you :clap:

Jussi is a pale shadow of his former self.

jussi isnt playing, bogdan is in goal

4-0 to Chelsea away to Bolton after 27 mins. Some amount of boo’s ringing round. Coyle in trouble?

mbb, are you even watching the game??

Oh fuck, that would explain it so, wasn’t watching following updates online while doing something else. Is the guy at Wigan still on Boltons books?

Bolton are some chancers.

Masterclass in goalkeeping here.

:clap:

Szczesny made a world class one on one save from Adebayour today in the north london derby. Also made a couple of other smart saves but will be disappointed to have been beaten by Kyle Walkers 25 yard effort

Blatant hand ball by VDV in the lead up to Spurs first goal as well

Yeah, he ruined what had been a very good performance by leaving that goal in. It was a very poor effort by him. It was a good game, Arsenal didn’t deserve to lose really.

Watching MOTD2 here - did I miss some memo about pronunciation of his name? The commentator seemed to be calling him something different today.

Dion Dublin is nearly as bad as gola for using hyperbole when talking about the EPL

That was some shocking defending from Arsenal.
Keeper should have saved that shot aswell.

If Wenger hadn’t inherited that great defence would Arsenal ever have won anything?
It seems he has no clue about organising a defence

Considering the won a league title in 2004 and only conceeded around 25 goals while going unbeaten for the entire season unbeaten pretty much contradicts that point. Keown would have been the only defender left from when Wenger took over and was a bit part player at that stage

He didn’t inherit the defence that went undefeated in '03/'04 to be fair. They’ve had big problems with injuries (what a surprise) at the back this year too, meaning it’s never been the same back 4 playing the same games. That will almost always lead to poor organisation.

Very disappointing stuff from Bolton today, I was expecting them to have a decent season but the fixture list hasn’t been kind to them and their confidence looks on the floor

:clap:

They have a shit squad, chewy.

A few things:

  • Lost two key players in Lee and Holden with long term injuries;
  • Coyle’s arselicking of other managers hasn’t gotten them as good loan players as previous seasons when they got the likes of Wilshere & Sturridge;
  • They’re full of rubbish journeymen players like Zat Knight, Paul Robinson, Kevin Davies, Nigel Reo-Coker, Robbie Blake and others.

Bolton will be alright, they couldn’t have wished for a worst opening to the season where they have been pitted against all the top 4-5 teams in a matter of weeks.
