How did young Evans play when he came on, Shan…

He looked calm and assured. He usually is but sometimes makes a major fuck up and costs United a goal. Him and Jones will have to marshall the defence for the next game against Spurs and possibly Arsenal depending on Vidic.

Shameful dive by Long to win a free after Cleverley had pulled out of a tackle today.
And a brilliant bit of refereeing in the Chelsea game to not award a penalty to Frank Lampard for being shot by a stoke defender today.

Some performance considering he had been told prior to the game that his father had been abducted in Nigeria. Decidecd to play anyway beacause he didn’t want to let the team down.

man city have some squad when you look at players on bench tonight.

I think Swansea will be replacing Blackpool as the “good guys” of the Premier League. They seem fairly committed to playing a nice brand of football. I hope they get the results to reward it.

Dzeko continues his good run of form. He’s a good player and was always going to benefit if a bit of faith was shown in him.

Agreed, Swansea possess much better players though.

Liverpool v Arsenal teams:

Koscielny has pulled up with an injury. Looks fucked.

Martin Atkinson has been very pro-Liverpool in his decisions so far.

Just get him a new hip and be done.

It seems Dalglish has spent 100m + at Liverpool to turn them into Stoke City mk2.

While they do need to invest in players, particularly a centre half now it seems, I think some of Arsenal’s current players are getting off lightly in the criticism stakes.

Arshavin has given the ball away every time he has received it. He looks like a player seriously low on confidence.

It is surely time for Walcott to start influencing games also. Becoming less and less effective as the years progress.

Rosicky injured today. What does this lad do mid week? I’d like to see his playing stats in his 4th season at Arsenal now.

All 3 are gash.

Nasri has easily been the best player on the pitch today.

i cant understand why van persie takes corners. granted he has a good delivery, but surely it would be better to have your main striker in box. frimpong is an animal.

For those wishing to watch the last 20 minutes of the Sunderland-Newcastle derby:

Frimpong looks like the kind of player Arsenal have missed in their midfield - aggressive, powerful and snappy - although he is raw when it comes to his technical skills. In saying that I think he is very likely to get sent off in the this game, needs to mature with regards his temperament and decision making.

Liverpool are an utterly horrible team to watch.

Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson are both tactically braindead and have let Nasri and Frimpong break throught the middle of the pitch with ease today.

Nasri has certainly been the best player on show today so far. He left Lucas and Martin Atkinson for dead on that run and shot.

Walcott has been completely anonymous. He needs to take some responsibility for getting on the ball himself. Same goes for Ramsey but at least he can say he’s lacking experience.

Henderson needs to be taken off. Adam isn’t much better. Surely suarez could cause a bit of havoc here
