Equality

I suppose the only relevance of it is how “liberal” society should be. That picture is nothing compared to what we have seen here on the streets of San Fran, lots of nudity and simulated sex on display during pride marches. I think most people would regard that as going too far, although some like @Sidney would undoubtedly defend it as people’s right to express themselves.

@anon7035031 - are you accusing Tom O’Malley of NUIG, who is a barrister and senior law lecturer, of being a paedophile supporter too?

The sentencing laws in Ireland are way too lax for pedophiles who rape children (and for a lot of other crimes). I don’t think any normal person would argue with that.

Epstein should have received a life sentence, and likely will.

I’d say it’s relevance is that @gaillimhmick is a raging self-hating homo but whatevs

Could you answer the questions regarding Joe Brolly and Tom O’Malley, please?

Are you calling them paedophile supporters?

Michael Clifford of The Examiner also voiced similar views to them - you may answer the same question as regards Michael Clifford

@anon7035031 - are you accusing yourself of being a paedophile supporter?

You’re now making up hypotheticals as to what I think about something I’ve never expressed a view on on this forum?

Interesting

We all know what you really think @Sidney . You’re fooling nobody.

But he didn’t - he was given a tap on the wrist behind the backs of his victims by Acosta - and Acosta was rewarded with the post of Labor Secretary - and Trump was just fine with that 13 month day release sentence as he wanted Acosta to remain in place - only for superb journalistic work by Julie Brown of the Miami Herald in the face of a huge amount of stonewalling from well connected people the case would never have even come back into public view last November

Go on, mate, tell us

You clearly did, you said the next step would be parades for paedophilia, I don’t see what other point you could have been making.

I’m lost now, who are you exactly? I never said a word to or about you?

Have you ever seen a Carnival parade from Brasil or other countries?

I have and they are morally reprehensible. Again, no problem for consenting adults but this shouldn’t be forced on the public.

So your objection is to human anatomy across the board? You dont like any public displays of affection or people shaking their bits?

Just the latter.

Did you never do an auld bit of jiving back in the day? Young people do all kinds of shit to express themselves, I wouldnt judging a whole subset of people over it.

The justice system in Ireland enables criminals. When you see people with dozens or even hundreds of convictions receiving suspended sentences how much more evidence do you need? Deflection on to the US and Trump doesn’t help your case, in the vast majority of cases sentencing is very strict in the US, especially for violent crime.

In my opinion those arguing that Humphries sentence was appropriate would better serve society arguing for longer sentences for crimes against children and all violent crime. There is too much pandering in Ireland to criminals as victims.
