European Super League Super Thread

As a Liverpool supporter I think the appropriate punishment is to throw Liverpool and all other clubs involved in this breakaway plan out of this season’s Champions League.

Can’t say fairer than that.

In leagues like the epl where there’s rarely a title race it’ll make some amount of games meaningless as nobody will be pushing for European places.

Oil is a horrific resource anything to do with it should be disowned. Destroying the world and the bit of enjoyment a majority of the world can agree on.

For years I’ve been trying to nail what fenway were at with Liverpool, not playing moneyball with players, reinvesting in the team etc. Now we can see they are cunts.

Glazers cunts

Levy is a cunt.

Woolwich have always been cunts back to 1919

Chelsea are owned by a gangster who have buried people no doubt

City, enough said, ive expirenced their corporate match day expirence. Hated it. Far from my first football match in England at Highfield Road.

Barcelona more than a club lie. Up there with Pep being a great manager. All BS

Madrid are state sponsored and built on fascism

PSG oil money cunts

The Italians will fix a game without blinking

Man City were a nothing club a few years ago as were PSG, they are included now

Indeed . This is the game reaching its logical conclusion .

Disgraceful that none of the big Russian clubs have been invited.

More blatant Russophobia.

Abramovich was exiled.

This is yet another Western political powerplay.

Games gone lads, games gone.

It’s nothing to do with merit. The 12 teams are 12 of the top 15 richest clubs in the world, and the other 3 have turned it down so far

Not surprised to see people like the Glazers and Levy involved in this.

I thought that was blatantly obvious from the off.

It was but some people are a bit slower on the uptake

My source at Man Utd is against the idea.

I also find it funny seeing overseas fans lamenting the hurt caused to the English football pyramid of this.

It’s the growth of the big 4 leagues to dwarf all else that has damaged football in Europe.

The Super League (great name) could actually be just the ticket to end up with strong teams throughout Europe. The Founding Clubs and their Partners in JP Morgan will be eagerly looking at new Franchise opportunities in time. Amsterdam, Dublin, Rome, Lisbon, Copenhagen etc might in time find themselves inside the tent here and it will be a positive for the game, these new franchises can start afresh and rid themselves of the historical shames of clubs from those cities e.g. Roma’s facist founders.

Gary Neville had no problem with the Salford City super franchise using a tycoon’s wealth to distort competition in the lower leagues.

None of these clubs have ever won a European Cup or Champions League

The glazers are scum bags.
