Surely it’s quiet enough during the summer? They’ll see proper student activity the first week of September I’d say!

College court is hopping this summer after the covid payment. I know plenty of ucd, nuig and ucc students who have moved to college court for the summer just for the pure lawlessness.

Yeah I heard that about College Court last summer alright. Briarfield would be a bit quieter though you’d imagine.

Almost one in 10 cases are in the Cork/Kerry region, followed by the Mid-West region of Limerick, Clare and Tipperary North, with 4% of all cases. The remainder are in the Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow region.

So 96% of cases are elsewhere, but eh Limerick.

Lock it down

Drove through the hurling heartland of Patrickswell, the applegreen in the cheapest diesel locally, and not a Limerick flag in sight. The place was full to the brim of Lions Rubby flegs though. For shame, for shame. Wouldn’t have happened when Phil Bennis was chairman.

Wtf ??

Yup, not a green and white flag to be seen. Now, maybe there were one or two on the houses around and McDermotts did have a couple up but the contrast between the number of Lions Rubby flegs and the lack of Limerick ones was stark.

Yeah I was up that way during the week, cringeworthy stuff.Lions flegs everywhere from the village down to Murray’s homeplace.
Embarrassing stuff

It was very cringe worthy tbf

Having lads playing Munster finals is nothing new in the Well . A Lions captain is .

Jaysus very magnanimous to deck the town out for a sub on the rubby team.

He has the captains suite mate.

He’s been dropped. Filling the place with rubby flegs on the week of a Munster final is very unlike Patrickswell.

I came through there again this evening and the same story. The aftermath of the greatest comeback in hurling history when your local lad gets the man of the match is totally unmarked. The roundabout above the Grotto actually has an added placard with a picture of Murray on it.

He wasn’t “dropped” . This is the first test .

It is a matter for the denizens of Patrickswell as to what sporting images they festoon their village
