Even more mayhem regarding Limerick

Thereā€™s a limerick flag on the road between Brandon and Blennerville. It isnā€™t a token effort. Its a big fuck off effort. Great to see

Is the Windmill back open?

Donā€™t think so. Didnā€™t it close before the lockdown even?
I passed last week during the day and it looked rundown and desolate. Hard to imagine that it may have opened later in the evening.

I passed by it a few days and door was open, was just wondering if it was outta interest.

Itā€™s been open for the last 4 to 5 weeks .

That young fella cclr mcsweeny was putting up his own posters in support of the Limerick team in Clarina in the pissing rain. Fair play to him. A true gael. Thereā€™s no love for the lions in ballybrown. Nevermore the other side of that parish

Wasnā€™t Tom Ryan giving out about a rubby banner in Kildimo a few years back.

Yeah some fellas think the ban is still in place

Now I would have agreed with this stance in the early days of vaccine rollout. But now with the majority of people double jabbed, i think some folk need to fuck off and get a life! The vaccines are there so we can live our lives. Move on!

Behaving sensibly is the antithesis of following Limerick.

Now you said it.

David Raleigh targeting one group of supporters out of four counties competing this weekend.

A ridiclious piece and an awful way of making a living frankly. What sort of journalism is that, absolite bullshit.

Wouldnt expect anything less from the Irish Independent.

Disgusting platform.

Raleigh is the Indoā€™s Mid Western correspondent so Iā€™m assuming thatā€™s why he targets Limerick. Ridiculously slow news day.

There is that too :grinning:

best place for a toasted sandwich around Limerick? Forget about the dressing and chips etc, a ham cheese and optional onion one. Stopped off at Reardons near lough Gur for one but not good. None in Mungret.
Curragower? Locke? Anywhere in the county?
Anything with a roaster element to it would be an advantage too.
The Ho in Mungret used to have a bog standard ham cheese and onion years ago, no sides, hit the spot.

Of all the things to be on the lookout for ā€¦ To answer your question, iā€™ve no idea.

Any pub that does food would put on a toastie for you, the last time I had one out was in Bobby Byrnes and it was lovely in its simplicity
