Even more mayhem regarding Limerick

Limerick never felt like a college city to me when I was a regular in town.
UL is only three miles away but it feels like ten

Anyone queuing to get into a bar needs their head examined. Nancys famous for it. Packed in like sardines. I’ve had good Sunday nights out there to be fair years ago. But not been there in a long time and most likely too old for it now anyhow. Some nicer spots to go these days for a few beers.

If he wants to run around town putting on small bets on a horse for royal ascot for me pm me there.

He was sent down there to clean up the place up

Retail moved to the Crescent because the city council rates are ridiculously expensive. The crescent was outside the city and paying lower rates to the county council. I know one business in the city centre off O’Connell St and they pay €30,000 a year in rates alone. If the council reduced rates and made parking free they’d full the city centre again, but they’re too fucking stupid and greedy to do either.

I was in the Wickham way market a couple of times in the last two days, the food offerings at the moment are absolutely top class
Pizza as ever is amazing, as good as it gets
The street food people are doing gyozas this month with skinny chips and Japanese seasoning, come with a selection of dips, as good as I’ve ever had, I tried the duck and the chicken.

There’s a new dosa stall as well, absolutely unbelievable

If you’re around town while it’s open don’t miss it

Not a puff of wind around. The birds have stopped singing. Traffic quiet.

ROD ROD ROD.

A bit of a shock for him, I’m biased but the man works 7 days a week. His phone never stops. Disagree with his views all you went, it’s a democracy so that’s fine, but you can’t question the mans work ethic.

Glad he’s on the mend. About time he put himself and his family first and not everyone else.

Does it get many customers floating through there? Only wandered through there once as a shortcut to Patsy’s, hadn’t even heard about it. Was impressed but even when I ask pals somewhere decent eat, none have ever offered it up even as an option.

Big crowds on Saturdays, wouldn’t be too busy the other times it’d be open, definitely worth trying it out

This weekend can’t get any better!

(Completion date will probably be some time in late 2041)

The Old Firestation used to have great healthy grub. A pity it never lasted. Good portions at reasonable prices.
