What fucking business is it of Mattie McGrath in fairness? Youād think he had better things to worry about than drawing a boot into a young lad who is already down just because he comes from across the border.

Mattie has little to be worrying him if this is grabbing his attention. The press didnāt get their money shot, is the gist of it.
Maybe some TD should refer to the lenient punishment meted out by the justice system for robbing elderly people and refer to a specific case in Mattieās constituency.

Mattie has a long running crusade against Limerick prison. Sure Jerry OāDeas ended up closing because the prison officers could no longer spend half the shift in the pub due to some whistle-blower kicking up a fuss
There must be some relative or family friend in there giving him all the juicy gossip, either on the staff or behind bars.
A lot of it seems like some miffed co worker who was passed over for a promotion or not part of a clique
