Trafflers love running raffles. Itās a huge thing with them recently. Another lad I know who would have a few rough edges has been running loads of them for anything from cash, to cars to quad bikes.

Documentary about abbeyfeale on rte1 now. Weāve learned so far that thereās 16 barbers in the town, it once had 64 pubs at the same time and thereās now 10, thereās 2000 people from the Abbeyfeale area.
One of the raiding party on that night would have been a great grandfather of a fourmite.
Daniel Neville of Ballinacourty, Ballysteen was shot in the leg by the loyalist (Peter Switzer) who owned the house. Danielās second cousin and neighbour (Daniel Neville of Ballyaglish, Ballysteen, born 1898) was tragically killed during the same raid. To avoid attention from the local RIC officers, the body of Daniel (Ballyaglish) had to be hidden for a number of weeks, while Daniel (Ballinacourty) had to be sent to Ballyhahill in West Limerick for medical attention. While they died nearly 50 years apart, they are now buried near each other in Castletown, Pallaskenry. RIP.
The first Daniel who was shot, and survived, is a great grandfather of the current Limerick Footballer Daniel Neville. They are very creative with their names down Ballysteen way.
