Would you often put turnip or broccoli into a toasted sandwich?

Ordered a box of them and box of popcorn from Manhattan at Christmas. They went down well, might put in another order.

An acquaintance put her father in a nursing home shortly after he came home claiming his car was stolen from the multi+storey. She said it was the last straw. I wondered how he was still driving if that was the case.

Turned out he had gone back to the wrong multi-storey. In a provincial town with two such car parks.

I do.

Tasty albeit crunchy was a little artistic licence. Concretey would be the more accurate word.

Why were sweets, crisps, ice pops etc so incredibly iconic in the 80s/90s? I don’t think it’s just because we were young. Our lives were literally based around ayting woppas, penny golf balls, big times and the likes.

We didn’t spend the day putting salt and sugar down our throats, we had to make big decisions about how to spend our money
