This time last year I posted the ultimate flu banisher. From memory, a Lemsip type thing, shot of whiskey, slice of lemon studded with cloves, honey, pinch of cayenne pepper, boiling water. Take it to bed with you and wrap yourself in layers of blankets. You will be fit for any challenges tomorrow.
