did 1st pretty light workout Sunday in a while . I did Single leg squats, steps ups, Bulgarians squats, Went way lighter compared to before with reps and sets as I haven’t do This was Sunday I did this, Monday i felt fresh as a daisy, a bit sore yesterday and today I would struggle to briskly walk. Is this delayed muscle soreness common? Or is this just a sign I went too hard or just that I need to take a longer break?

Fairly common after weights if you’ve taken a decent break from it. 2nd day is always worse.

It’s doms. Unless you have years of training weight bearing exercises create doms in even as short a time as 8-10 days out from not performing the exercise.
