Fitness XL- Your training routine

Fellas,

Don’t taint this noble thread with this bullshit.
The lull in retort would marry with mickee sending PM’s to runt.

Let’s break this down.

I worked in a former life for a web marketing company and had a small business on the side doing SEO etc.

Runt came to me about this for advice. We duly conversed. He showed me a site he was building for the big Financial firm in Limerick he was the IT manager (gofer) for. He also had some side projects. He pleaded with me not to let any information out. As I was only having conversation an really didn’t care about him or his life I have not even retained his name in my head, I have forgotten.

Anyway time went on and runt shared info about me to other which culminated in some very immature phone calls from him, carry Harry and a few others. Such are lads I suppose.

Alit of this came back to me over time. But at the time a limerick poster PM’s me to not trust the runt, he is a sneaky prick. I shrugged the e-shoulders, whatever. Since then I was told runt had given my info to other posters and they used it whatever way they wanted.

It’s not really had any affect in my life, one phone call. But it shows the type of person runt is. I think everyone should know.
These are indeed the actions of a slíbhín. Ringing a lad who helped you in order to take the piss out of him is fucking ridiculous.

‘I shrugged the e-shoulders’ is quality.

I been doing the gym twice a week for the past few weeks and I have a nice core built up. However there is pleasant comforting light layer of visceral fat sitting over this foundation of steel in certain areas.

Most noticeably the waist and tit region.

I am ready to part with this waste. The diet has slipped slightly and this may be the main reason but would I benefit from a few 10K runs?

Weight training is probably better to shift that. Kev will inform you…seems like you need to tone the regions in question rather than lose the weight if you get me. I have a similar problem with my obliques…(lovehandles for the uninitiated)

@caoimhaoin can i continue with core work whilst on my sabbatical for the upcoming leg work?

When can I return to my workout routine after my cold?

You did indeed Kev, you told a lovely story.

The first bit was mostly true, Kev did give me a bit of advice in relation to web design/SEO which was very much appreciated. Fast forward probably two years or more and there was the incident with Kev receiving telephone calls. It was well established at the time that I had nothing to do it. He claimed the calls took place while I was in Clonmel at the coursing, yet when he went back and checked his phone records he realised the date of the calls was a couple of days after Clonmel. I assume he is mentioning Carryharry as a joke considering Carryharry wasn’t even a member of the site then.

The person who sent around your details that time was found out and took a holiday from the site. Just because you say something in your usual, preachy, know it all tone doesn’t make it true and before you fall off your high horse remember you are the same lad who claimed to me that you friends in Cobh and you were going to find out information about Mickee and put a stop to his bullshit.

A lot of immature stuff went on here 3/4 years ago (probably because everyone on here was 3 or 4 years younger) the place has moved on. I suggest you do too.

PM sent to @artfoley as to how i should proceed, i feel like im part of a witness protection progarm here or something
@chewy louie and @Watch The Break came back more mature posters after their sabbaticals in 2011 and i have forgiven them for their quite bizarre behaviour of PMing pictures, addresses and telephone numbers of posters around the site, ( warning to @twiceasnice97 needs to be careful with personal info that clare hurlers site from what i have heard)
@caoimhaoin and @TreatyStones internetting habits and behaviours are quite fucked up TBH

anyway, im off to do a session with the prowler followed by a sprint workout

How often a week do you train? It’s probably a diet thing. A mate swears by fasted walking to shift body fat. Edit: personally I find higher intensity stuff melts fat and think fasted walking is a bit stupid.

ill field this question
yes pal work away on the core but also try to incorporate a session with a prowler twice a week

@TreatyStones post is very similar to puke’s meltdown in the threats of violence thread

Not really in terms of keeping muscle and burning fat.

Sprint intervals of short and long variety would work better.

Night 1 - some 30’s, 40’s, 50’s & yp’s and maybe finish with 2-3 200’s below full pace, say 400 flat out pace.
You could put one of your upper body strength sessions after this. Make your week more efficient. That sprinting is going to hit the lower body like a heavy squat, power clean session. So adjust accordingly.

Night 2 - pick a distance, 400-1Km. Do 1:1 work:rest ration on what ever distance you prefer and buildup over time the reps. Always stop one rep back from the one you think will hurt you. Quality beats quantity. As you are 30+ I suggest a 2 weeks increasing work load one week Deload continued.

Sounds good.

I got an LED floodlight fitted to the side of the garage at home that can be adjusted to shine onto the field which will be perfect for this activity. I just need to run the topper on it on Saturday to clip the grass back a bit.

Nah fella, I believe those who told me.

And the key thing is, I didn’t use the information I had. You did. I wasn’t that immature even then

Diet beats all though, I should have said that.

nothing like cross country running in the winter, especially if there is a hint of snow in the air with a cold wind
sprint sessiosn on farm land can be a cunt tho, especially if there were cows in the field earlier, fucked my ankle when i was around 17 doing shuttle runs and back ward runs in the field by the house

Any good websites which list decent diet plans that are easily prepared?
