I drove to work like Senna this morning and only for a bit of Fleet Foxes and Midlake that mellowed me slightly I would have probably taken out a few pedestrians coming through Clarinbridge.
Senna died 20 years ago today. Power of suggestion.

yes , especially if i drank a load of maximuscle before it , the plant sterols can drive your brain nuts
you’d be wired altogether… taking nasal decongestant tablets containing ephedrine are a great stimulant as well
Very good post, @caoimhaoin. Unfortunately I’ll never get back to playing elite level sport (like TFK AFC Astro team) but my physio says the improvement in my hip flexibility, mobility and strength in the past 6 weeks is excellent. At this rate, I may very well be able to have sexual intercourse in the missionary position without pain by the end of the year.
But there’s no reason why I can’t take part in low load activities like cycling, swimming* and running or other gym based things like crossfire or whatever it’s called as part of my rehab.
I’ve been working hard at it but I’d planned a blow out for a stag last weekend. I did my pilates class first thing on Friday, took the weekend off but was back into my regime on Monday morning with renewed vigour.
I know the whole forum is praying for me so I’ll update you on the injuries thread following my consultant visit next week.

I am no expert in these matters but I gravely doubt the hip is the problem here pal. Prior to entry try aiming your thrusts about 2 inches higher and see how that goes.
Did a HIIT session in the racecourse at lunchtime.
80m run, flat to the boards. Walk back slowly. X 7
Absolutely fucked.
An unnatural appetite on me now. The Avocado, Chicken and Mango salad I ate and hour ago didn’t come within an Irish mile of hitting the spot. I have 3 organic eggs in the fridge here that are going get eaten shortly.
What’s the opinion on ‘cryospas’? They seem to be all the rage these days for a tenner a pop with all and sundry declaring them ‘a great job’ on Facebook and the likes.
Well the main thing about my prep is that im fairly confident that ill complete the run and not keel over immediately afterwards. Losing a stone and a half helps as well.

You any nearer to 44 mins?
Ah the time is coming down, highly motivated, a cocky cunt who just started work here is shiteing abuot running…, 46 would probably be more realistic, but who knows come fun run day…
