Lads and ladies, this thread is excellent entertainment, the best in ages in fact, and could be a contender for TOTY*, but how can we nurture our relationships if @Fulvio_From_Aughnacloy 's generous and better yet free advice is stifled by his having to respond to scurrilous ad hominem attacks from the pathologically jealous??
Thereās a girl I was seeing through lockdown and the chats were very good. We have very similar interests and are probably similar people. This was fine when we couldnāt touch each other. I think that she interpreted this as playing hard to get or being distant, which I was. I am not sexually attracted to her. Iām probably no better looking that she is but that doesnāt really matter.Tonight after dinner in a restaurant she wanted me to go back to her place but I said my goodbyes around 9 oāclock. Sheās after texting me āare we going backwards or going nowhereā. I just texted her sorry.
I also shagged this girl once, which I know is nearly unforgiveable because I know she likes me. I didnt enjoy it all. She basically forced the whole thing, nearly raped me. You of all people should understand this.
Iām fairly sure that she likes me a lot. What do I say to break up with her as gently as possible?
(It has to be over the phone, Iām not doing it in person, I dont care how bad that sounds, Iāve broken up with girls in person before and been trapped talking to them for hours when they wouldnāt fuck off).
My big fear is that Iāll place to high a value on sexual attraction and end up an miserable old man like @Thomas_Brady attacking randomness on TFK because I married some professional eyebrow technician with all the intelligent conversation of a pack of crayons.
