A piece on the news there about an air ambulance helicopter being launched in Cork.
Simon Coveney was there, giving it loads about how Dingle can be reached in 10 minutes and Dungarvan in 10 minutes as well.
Then some bloke, who seemed to be in charge of the helicopter project was appealing for donations from the public!! Apparently it’s going to be primarily funded from public donations. €2m a year it costs. I would say an essential service. And Coveney there!!
It just goes to show what this fucking government is about. It would madden you.
