The lack of car parking spaces in Dublin hospitals. The Mater Hospital is particularly bad.

Generally when bringing somebody to a hospital appointment active travel and public transport are not viable options.

Hopefully the new children’s hospital will have adequate spaces for parents bringing sick children to the hospital.

they barely had room to put it in the james’ campus so its going to be a hard no on the parking

It seems a very obvious issue with the location never mind the difficulty in accessing it by car. Bringing a kid to hospital by luas/bus/train is simply not realistic.
