Further Things That Are Wrong (Part 2)

People going to electric picnic and wearing gear they wouldn’t be seen dead in the other 51 weekends of the year

I see a lad I know there who is as thick as pig shit wearing a keffiah scarf as a bandana underneath a baseball cap
He is an insurance broker or something :person_shrugging:

The fucking state of them

I sense some jealousy there.

Plenty things id be envious of but I’d go digging ditches for the week before you’d get me to electric picnic I think

Some fine looking talent knocking about the place going by the pictures in the papers. If nothing else, it would be great therapy for the eyes.

Women have a whole festival ‘look’
it’s very amusing that these people need to step into an outfit to play a character for the weekend alright.

Like all the 40+ year olds who went to oasis recently all buying those silly hats :grinning:.

These people aren’t music fans, they just long to be part of something and more importantly need to seen doing it

But shur what harm i suppose.

Sure is it any different to somebody buying a hat on the way to a gaa game?

I’d say plenty of people buy the hats at oasis concerts because all the tickets are e tickets and it’s a memento of sorts.

The same lads were mugging teenage gitls for taylor swift tickets
and broadcasting their triumphs on the Internet.
I suppose that’s just the way things have gone now.

I guess it is just the Gen X version of wearing the Army shop stuff like many did at Féile in the 90s.

They’ll all be back gymming at 6am, eating avocado on toast for breakfast and telling the world about their ‘growth mindset’ from tomorrow.

It was great to see Austin Gleeson’s minute of magic totally dwarf events from Stradbally this weekend all the same.

Wear what you want. Life is too short to be worrying about what other people think of your clothes.

A lot of internalised repression on unintentional show from certain posters here.

we are all english speakers here, try that again.

There are a few posters here wearing priest’s collars right now.

And shure look it, if that’s what makes them happy, let them at it.

Like taking candy from a baby.

That poster is joking about assaulting children again, although sadly we know that his assaults on children are anything but a joke.

What a hero. My type of hurler.

I was chatting to a few young south galway club hurlers over the weekend and it was all hyrox and protein shakes etc etc.

No mention of post match pints and finger food in Cawleys like the good ould days.
