Canning had a way better year than four of those forwards overall, maybe 50/50 with callinan due to the strength of callinans semi and the fact he survived an assassination attempt by that awful awful john hanbury. Canning way more deserving than mannion, shanahan, aylward

Mannion was well held by Barrett resulting in him coming out around the half forward line/centre field.
De BĂșrca was in a free role in most games he played, so what, thatâs how his team set up and he was excellent. He also played a lot more games than Barrett. Barrett is an excellent player but certainly not deserving of all star this year.

I thought De Burca was only middling against Tipp and was overwhelmed in the end by Kilkenny. Connors and Aylward had a ding dong battle but I though Aylward got the better of it in the end. I think if Aylward had of got that sitter he missed it would have been no contest.
Maurice on the other hand thoroughly deserved his award and I hope Liam Rushe, Eddie Brennan and all the other horrible cunts here who vilified him go fuck themselves.

So Bubbles doesnât deserve one because he wasnât excellent in the Semi Final and Barrett doesnât deserve one because he was excellent in the Semi Final and Munster Final although he wasnât marking anyone because of the way their opponents set uo but de Burca deserves one although he wasnât marking anyone due to the system his team was playing?

Barrett was not more deserving of an all star than Connors no matter what way you cut it. Callanan got one so I donât know what your complaint is about shanahan. What other tipp players would you like to whinge about?
Iâm not whinging pal, you asked what Tipp players had better performances than the 3 Waterford lads. Maurice Shanahan played full forward for Waterford this year.He was not the best full forward in this yearâs championship, Callanan was.
No Waterford defender was deserving of an All Star due to the very set up of their team ie Tadgh de Burca hit an ocean of ball due to the work of his other team mates, not down to any individual brilliance from him, that is not to say he isnât a great talent.
