[QUOTE=âIl Bomber Destro, post: 1034955, member: 2533â]Would have had McHugh, McGee, McGlynn, Mone and McBrearty in the team ahead of Paul Murphy, Cillian OâConnor, Donaghy, Boyle and McCarthy.

They came through the Ulster Championship where there are many more tough obstacles than the cakewalk in other provinces for Mayo, Dublin and Kerry. Unfortunately the All Stars are decided on what happens in August and September. The Paul Murphy award was a joke, he played the majority of the year at wing back and part of the very small time he spent in the corner got roasted by Paddy McBrearty and taken for two point in about five minutes. Dessie Mone was the best wing back in the Championship and if he had played for any of the big counties now heâd have four of five All Stars in his back pocket. I would rate him and Sean Leo McGoldrick as the best wing backs in the game but neither have won All Stars.
Whatever gave you that idea? Here was the All Star side he selected a few weeks back. 7 for the beaten finalists Donegal, 8 Ulster in total and 4 from the All Ireland champions, Kerry.
2 of Kerryâs All Star winners of 2014 (including their player of the year nomination) in an away game didnât play in that game and they won by 4 points. Kerry had much tougher game against Mayo who brought them to an extra time replay and Donegal who were the width of a post from bringing them to a replay.
Anyone watching this? Cody being interviewed there. âYeah it was sweet to win the All-Ireland, we wouldnât have been fancied at the start of the year.â
They were FAVOURITES FFS!!
Jackie Tyrrell sitting beside an auld one in the audience with his tux on, i wonder did he bring his mother along for a night out.
They should have named Kerryâs Paul Murphy at right corner back on the hurling team and Kilkennyâs Paul Murphy at right corner back on the football team for the laugh.
He certainly was not. Take the limerick game in thurles when jimbob and brownie ran midfield. Scoring points from play is not the primary job of the midfielder, and that is what he did
