@Turenne was right. Backs never win the individual awards.
He has family from the same place as kid chocolate, he absolutely is a roaster living in a city.
Did O Donoghue and McHugh get the footballer of the year awards ?
Shane McGrath? Wtf.
He had a decent year but Iâd have had Fogarty, Chin, Browne and Jim Bob all ahead of him.
Joanne was horrific at having the bants with the award winners, Lyster the same.
Yes.
Canât understand how dowling gets an all star yet doesnât win young player of the yearâŚMunster champs no all stars, Munster runners up 2 all stars
The awards are a joke

Because there was more competition for corner back than corner forward. Barrett was better than him this year
Correct.
They should have got the hurlers in the crowd to wear their helmets so weâd recognise a few more of them.

Theyâve long been a farce in fairness. Might as well do away with them. Pretty much based on the AI semi finals and final(s) only now.
Iâm not one to defend them but Cork should have got at least one. No offence to the lad but Iâm still baffled at how Shane McGrath got one.

Which Cork players deserved one & who would you drop off the 2014 selection? Get your head out of your hole please @dodgy-keeper
Did premierview explode now that richie âno medalsâ hogan is hoty?
Donegal had only to beat two of the perennial whipping boys of the Ulster Championship, Derry and Antrim to advance to this years Ulster Final. Kerry and Mayo both had to travel to the cauldrons that are Cusack Park, Ennis and Dr Hyde Park at the provincial semi final stage and eek out come from behind 4 point and 1 point wins in two very tight encounters.
On the evidence of the Tipp game none of them deserve one.
However up to that game Walsh, Cadogan and Horgan looked nailed on. Walsh had a shocker against Tipp but he was better than McGrath in the rest of the championship IMO.
Ultimately itâs a meaningless debate, I will admit.
o_O
Its always going to be a farce until they bring in a league/grand final style system. Not a big enough sample of games at the moment.
Farce me hole.
The best 15 in the country have got all-stars *
- second midfielder was a toss up i admit.
No but they canât wait for the anger at us getting fewer than them.
Second time in 3 years weâve won the AI and gotten fewer than the runners-up.
The strongly worded letter is being composed as we speak.

Donaghy started two games this year and got one. He deserved it as he won Kerry the AI but the current system allows for things like that. I think the same happened DJ Carey towards the end of his career when he was parachuted in for a semi final/final.
There were calls for Gleeson to be dropped after the Limerick game and he ended up with one.
