Well done fagan fair play

Great insider knowledge, pal.

Even Appendage comes up with the goods on the Rory Jacob >2.5 points and the Harry Kehoe to score bets.

Lads, do frees count in these type of bets?

It can depend, some are offered as from play only and some are total points including frees, sidelines etc

Mostly they do unless its a specific bet on a free taker scoring from play

It will specify. All the ones I saw for this were from play only. Like Harry and Rory for example.

Are Offaly really 12 points worse than a Kilkenny team minus Shefflington & Fennelly?

Probably not… for the first 60 minutes. After that is anyones guess.

Senior Hurling in Tipperary this weekend. Divisional Semi Finals & County Qualifiers also take place.

I am going to lump big on the following accum,

Roscrea @ 1/6
Eire Og Annacarthy @ 1/4
Burgess @ 1/6
Kilruane @ 1/6
Portroe @ 1/12
Loughmore Castleiney @ 2/7
Clonoulty Rossmore @ 1/16
Drom & Inch @ 1/5
Templederry 1/8

All these teams should win comfortably imo, pity i can’t get any handicap betting prices.

The outstanding bet to me this weekend (and the obvious kiss of death therefore) is Mayo -5 versus Roscommon at evens with PP.

Also might be interested in Meath -3 at 10/11 with Boyles. Wicklow can be awkward on their day so I might steer clear of it.

They fucking better!

I have done Galway -13 v Laois evens.

dodgy-keeper was that one of your lot going around the Ardhu on Sunday evening showing off a betting slip with €400 on Dodge to get over 1.5pts @ 6/4?

No, not anyone I was with anyway! Didn’t see that person flaunting the docket, a nice touch in fairness.

Probably a bit more risky but Killenaule and Carrick Swan should win the south semis. Ballingarry and Mullinahone are both missing a good few.

That’s retarded behaviour. Do betting types often do this, seeking the congratulations/approval of random people when they have a win?

He was a bit boozed and elated.
Money is only of secondary importance after winning a bet. Telling all and sundry about your success is far more important.

depends on the circumstances poundage…if people have poured scorn on your predictions beforehand …its always nice to stick it in their face…

Don’t see anything I’d be overly excited about this weekend.

Interesting that the Cavan/Fermanagh game is priced so tight. I know they are going on league form but considering the display Cavan put on while beating Armagh, I thought they’d be 3 or 4 point favourites. Small punt on Cavan -2 @ 3/2.

Meath v Wickla is too tight. If Meath were at home I’d fancy them to cover it but it being in Aughrim fucks up the form book. No bet for me.

Not sure how good Mayo are vs how bad Galway are. -5 isn’t bad though. I’d fancy them to cover it. The top six have handed out some right trimmings in the championship to date.

In the hurling, I’'ll have a slight interest on Wexford +4, Dublin are gone very stale altogether.

I dislike backing large handicaps one way or another, as at 15 points odd up you’ve nothing to play for and the other teams gets a poxy goal and fucks the bet. For that reason Laois/Galway and Cork/Clare in the football are no bets for me.

Backing Mayo -5 @ evs
Small bet on Cavan -2 @ 3/2

Double both @ 5/1

And a triple with Wexford -4 @ 10/1
