Dessie dolan not playing
Need Derry to beat Down tomorrow to bring in a 7/1 treble.
[quote=“Julio Geordio, post: 780246, member: 332”]Down -3 versus Meath in the hurling is my main bet of the weekend. 7/5
Bookies understandably struggle to price Christy Ring games and I’ve made a decent return out of it previously. The two drew after extra time last weekend and I think Meath have lost their chance. Down only lost by 2 to Kerry in the early stages who would be warm favourites for the cup.
I’ve also doubled this with Waterford +2. Pays around 4/1
I’ve had a small cut off Waterford to win Munster @ 22/1 with a view to laying it off should they make the final, I’d be of the view that whoever wins this will beat Cork[/quote]
Not a bad weekend, my big bet came off. After watching that game I’m no longer certain that Cork will be beaten
[private]Maurice Shanahan has shortened to 13/2 in the top scorer market. I can see the logic in this and I’ve put a couple of quid on but you’d have to wonder about a lad who can’t even lift the ball properly[/private]
money for old rope…
Surely was.
[private]tipp -5 vLimerick 5/6 looks like money for jam. [/private]
Luckily for Limerick your tipping is shit!
Billy Hill will give you -4 at 10/11 Fagan. Alternatively take the -5 at 21/20 with Bet365.
myboyblue, what are the Laois u21’s like?
Tipperary (-4) vs Limerick 10/11 - William Hill
3 points win

Decent, they’ll put it up to Offaly and would be expecting to beat them. Ross King is back, he was captain last year and has been playing soccer with UCD all year, otherwise he’d be in serious consideration for the Seniors. Willie Dunphy is injured as is Cha Dwyer so they’ll be big losses, but they have enough to get over Offaly you’d hope. Laois hurling is buzzing at the moment and there’s a prospect of a decent crowd (in Laois hurling terms) to be there as well.
you´d have to fancy louth (-1) to beat wexford at 10/11 at home and with a championship game already under their belt…
Be having a cut off that alright
Paul Flynn at 20/1 to be Footballer of the Year looks a great price. B Brogan and Connolly ahead of him in the betting but Brogan not looking in top form, has already won it before and Connolly too unpredictable. If you fancy Dubs to win the All Ireland this looks the bet.
Paul Flynn is a wonderful footballer and seems to have gained decent traction in the media so this will obviously help. I’m in.
It’s all about the media traction. I believe he was man of the match on Sunday game the last day so that’s the first step.
With the type of all round attacking game dubs are playing this year you can’t see brogan dominating like 3 years ago either.
The only stumbling block is that the cunts mightn’t actually win the All Ireland.
That’s the one slight flaw alright. Still though 20/1… Michael Murphy at 8/1 will be this years traction man for Donegal I believe. He’s their star man really and didn’t win it last year.
Emlyn Mulligan is 7/2 JF to be the top scorer in the SFC with PP. Is this not a bit ridiculous? Sure, he might get a decent score against London, a few frees against Mayo and ditto in their inevitable one-and-done qualifier exit. Surely this wouldn’t be enough to get close to the top?
Murphy is a bit overrated in my opinion. He was brilliant underage and obviously a very good footballer but McFadden is a lot more consistent in his scoring
