What did he score against New York?

3-7 I think. He has a great chance and went from 40s to 12-1 immediately and now to this when sligo were beaten. About 25 points can usually win it. He’ll get 6/7 against London then maybe 5 per game in the connacht final and qualifier they play. If London beat them he won’t win it

Ah right okay, makes sense if he scored that much.

Laois - 1 are Evens with PP’s. Any last minute info myboyblue?

I’m a shit tipper, thats the only info you need.

Just on this:
2012: McFadden 4-32
2011: Cooper 2-27
2010: Johnny Doyle 1-49
2009: Cooper 1-34
2008: Doyle 2-26

So 25 winning it in the modern era is off. Double 25 wouldn’t even have won in 2010.

Yeah but I think most posters would have considered the source for the 25 point comment and dismissed it out of hand. Thanks for the empirical back up nonetheless!

Factually incorrect. He was 4/1 the day after the New York match

Think my main bet this weekend will be Monaghan (-4) at 11/10 versus Antrim. Was very impressed with them in the league final, think they’ll have far too much for Antrim.

May have a small nibble on a Louth and Monaghan win double which works out around evens. Not sure about Louth though, had a great win against Laois but Wexford surely have one big game in them, whether in the Leinster championship or in the qualifiers.

I wouldn’t be sure about Louth and Wexford either. Wexford have 2 world class forwards in Lyng and Barry, the best midfielder in the province in Daithi Waters and an outstanding full back in Graham Molloy (if fit). That’s enough good players to build a team around in Gaelic Football.

The only concern I’d have is that the natives have probably made threats to the life of the referee who only lives across the road in Longford.*

  • No basis in fact for this suggestion.

Never stopped too many before.

I see you mentioned him on another thread but it’s not Fahy, is it?

No it’s some lad called Fergal Kelly. Never heard of him. He’s hardly another Niall Barrett though. All joking aside I’d say the poor bastard will fear for his safety in that shit hole in Drogheda. The natives can get very testy and the security wasn’t the best the last time I was there.

Being a sad cunt, I watched him referee Derry-Armagh in the league on Setanta one Saturday night and thought he was excellent. I even noted his name.

MBB shows his supreme tipping abilities again

Theres a reason I dont bet. Dreadful start, down 1-4 to 0-0 after 5 mins. Pulled it back before half time and second half was great entertainment. 2-15 each going into injury time when Offaly pointed a free. Picky Maher had a 60 yarder to level it or his 12th of the game and send it to extra time which was the least they deserved but missed unfortunately.

Missing injured players and decision to leave the minors with Critchley while a valid one, probably cost them. Still, not a bad night in the development of Laois hurling.
