GAA betting 2024

I have gotten a nice bit of joy off them. Robbed this year with Flanagan not getting it.

I’d be having a right go off him if I was certain Limerick would win.

It’s very rare nowadays given the level scoring it’s not a forward who gets it. So you are ruling out a lot of players. Hegarty has been flying but maybe not getting a few breaks to really perform. He goes well v Clare. 2022 Munster final and this years round robin spring to mind.

I’d have him close to gillane in price and one is 11/1 and the other is 5/1. Im also not sure on Clare’s half backs.

I did Byrnes Friday at 20s for value into 14s now, all about frees.

Tom Morrissey loves the big occasion. Big price.

Agreed. If Limerick win with Byrnes scoring 0-04 (3f) he’s your MOTM unless any other player scores 2+ goals from play.

You need to know who’s going to be picking it and their mindset.

Nicky English would always give it to Harnedy or TDB when he was on Sky Sports and would have his friends well tipped up.

I wouldn’t touch such bets but each to their own.

Paddy power /Betfair are going 9/4 both teams over 26 points in total.

Weather is not brilliant today but both teams have hit 27+ in every game since the first round in Ennis, Limerick are always aiming for this mythical 30 scores and Clare are generally quick/high scorers too.

What are conditions like today?

Edit - I read it properly the second time :man_facepalming:t2:

The only thing is matches between the two tend to be lower-scoring.

Don’t think we’ve scored over 26 against them in normal time since 2020.
