GAA Congress 2020 - Larry boy is Boss now

Antrim and Derry numbers 3 and 4 nationally - its hard to justify spending more in Ulster when you see the ‘success’ that funding has delivered.

Down, Tyrone, Monaghan, Armagh and Fermanagh are in the bottom. Donegal and Cavan also operate in the bottom 11.

Good point to be fair if technology is in place for points or not surely a buzz in the refs ear for something like this would be easily put into
practice

6 out of those 7 put zero effort into hurling so of course they get less than other counties who are trying

They put about as much effort into it as Louth, Wicklow or Kildare.

Armagh do a lot of work with hurling and are bottom of the list.

Kildare won their tier of the all ireland a few years ago pal.

So? Armagh have been up there with them with about half the playing pick of Kildare and have the lowest funding of all the counties.

It’s not to do with the GAA only supporting counties who promote both codes, Ulster counties seem to be overlooked for funding.

And just like that, we have a split season.

The Gaa journalist clique will be seething.

We are

Ban on joint captains accepting cups accepted at Congress, already passed at Central Council.

There’s some proper weirdos out there, who suggested that motion ffs

This sort of happiness cannot to tolerated

Granted the joint captain thing is a load of bollocksology nonetheless.

Agreed most fellas should only get a year as captain, its more ceremonial than anything not to be watered down to joint captain.

Put galway into Munster, we’ll take Antrim

Galway are already in the Leinster u20?
