GAA Managerial Merrygoround Thread

Your need for a spiritual experience is greater now, pal.

I spoke to some knowledgable Galway hurling men before the All Ireland and got the impression that the knives were out for Cunningham should they not win it.

I’d say he was barely keeping a lid on it for the last couple of years.

Another clusterfuck. He may go now anyway.

Right, remember what that sylvie linnane guy said on up for the match.

The knives have been out for Cunnningham since he played a one armed** goalie in an All Ireland final.

**cued up perfectly

I blame twitter and university scholarships for this.

Muldoon GGA players used to be simple sorts who dabbled in farming.

Now they perceive themselves as celebrities and want to build a personal brand.

They want success and the trappings that go with it but they find it uncomfortable looking inward to find the reasons when it doesn’t happen for them.

You’ve made a shite of yourself here KP. People will think you’re from a place called Kinvaras in South America. Your proud identity is ruined!

Its about ‘brand’ protection at this stage Ambrose.

The underscores were really fucking with my SEO optimisation and the apostrophes would do like wise.

Was Kevin Fennelly in 1998 the last All Ireland losing manager to get the bullet straight after losing an All Ireland Final? Things didn’t work out too badly there with his successor.

@Big_Dan_Campbell

Has a meeting been held?
