Donoghue would be smooth enough Fagan if its interview quality you are after. The rest… well…
The Galway hurling cycle, go well for a couple of seasons but fall short, give the manager the heave. Bring in a new fella do badly for a couple of seasons and give him the boot. Then repeat.
It’s similar to the Limerick cycle except we repeat the bad season part more often before the cycle recommences.
