GAA Managerial Merrygoround Thread

He seems popular with the players, though that may not necessarily be the vital factor. I was talking to a few colleagues in Galway last week and he also seemed well thought of by them.

What about Cyril? He is the man for the job

If I may be so bold as to dip into @carryharry’s box of Gifs…

Got a terrific goal against Kilkenny in the 1992 semi final.

Can you remind me of the score in that one Geoff. I seem to remember Antrim giving Cork a half decent game for about 50 minutes but cant remember the Kilkenny Galway match

FFS Come on

shit storm coming ger Cunningham’s way by all accounts…

23 year olds retiring wouldnt appear that positive alright.

star player …apparently left in summer too but was coaxed back…i’d say dubs would have downed tools only for they saw how the Mayo and Galway players got a pummelling for doing so…

Cunningham for Dublin
Cunningham for Galway

Who has retired?

Ouch.

Cork beat Down in the semi in 1992 - Ger McGrattan got an all star that year I think also

I like the way he was principled enough to wait until after the trip to Boston
