He trained as an addiction counselor. Whether he’s working full time at that I don’t know
Are you sure thats a reflection on him? This is the GAA we are talking about. North Kerry housing one of the most robust and cranky subcultures within the island.
Was Ciaran an addict of some sort himself?
Beer
Ya thought that. Having seen him full flow not a surprise.
Fair play to him for going full circle.
I met Ciaran in Nancy’s about two years back and he was legless with porter
I only hope it isn’t a fall off the wagon… Please God it isn’t.
Ah stop, this lad gets some amount of free passes from Limerick fans. Just off the top of my head he’s walked out on:
Limerick senior camogie team
Limerick senior hurlers as selector
Patrickswell (after 1 year)
Limerick Under 21s
My sources tell me he didn’t walk…
He drove?
There is one common denominator there
It isn’t
Ciaran?
And yet he improved every single one of those teams and the players in general all loved playing under him.
In fairness he left The Well for the Kerry job, couldn’t do both, that’s hardly ‘walking out’ on them in that scenario.
Fair enough, but only one year with his home club. Should be a better commitment than that IMO.
Anyway @Julio_Geordio and @TreatyStones are sitting on the reason why he’s gone…coincidence?? I think it’s safe to say Askeaton have him lured away.
He fell?
Why?
Your own can be the biggest most demanding cunts of the lot.
And most if thise were only selector roles
However to really bring on a team, for yourself and put your own stamp on them, you need 2 minimum.
Ya he’s going managing the u-12’s
His U21 team was terrible.
