GAA Managerial Merrygoround Thread

Donal Óg has come out … and said he wants the Cork job.

Lets see if Tracey has the balls to deny him.

But not Waterford if Hitler was from Kilkenny.

Donal Og has put his name forward, I’d like to see him get a shot at it,
What are other Cork posters view on this?

Take away all the background noise about cusack and I don’t think he’s coaching record is up to scratch. Half managed cloyne to a few county finals 2 of which they were well beaten in.

How much had O’Grady or Allen?

Donal Og could harness the Corkness better than anyone I feel and surely that is the most important criteria

I hope donal og takes Derek with him and appoints des/Joanne as p.r advisors.

Joanne is way too smart to do that

If Donal Og takes it on he’ll do a grand job provided he has the ability to form a backroom team that both listen to him & be listened to by him. Tough act.

JBM with Donal Og would be the dream team.

JBM won’t be back

JBM is done with cork gaa after how he was treated. A total gentleman. He was a fantastic soccer player too.

What about Paudie Murray?

I dunno, I’m well out of the loop, I’d love to see Donal Og get a go at it

So we could watch the cunt fuck it up

Wasn’t what I had in mind mate

Id imagine he has little hope, i’d prefer him over kingston to be honest. We need a young progressive manager imho.

I think he’d be a disaster for Cork or any other county

Is it emblematic of the last remnants of british culture on this island for Cork GAA to even consider appointing a man as manager who wrote a letter to the court pleading leniency for his paedo friend?

Would @caoimhin be worth a punt on the coaching ticket
