GAA Managerial Merrygoround Thread

Beats watching d’hurdlin.

Ger Brennan to Louth.

Where was he last,Carlow?

Hasnt managed before but was involved in the background there. Disappointed Laois hadn’t him nabbed, looks like we’re going internal

Chaper anyways

For all it’ll be worth

Jonny Magee must have been out of their reach.

A man I know in GAA circles here just said they could be going from Fr Harte to Bishop Brennan

Is there a “relieved” emoji?

The horse race in sienna and the bull run in pamplona are really the only two sporting events which come close to the ulster final.

That’s a beauty

Jaysus you’d prefer N@Ger or Billy?

No. Neither of them either. Surely we can do better than that.

That’s the options. I’d love to hear more

Louth sticking to those of strong religious beliefs in the dugout .

Billy strong favourite. Effectively won’t cost CB a penny with his coppery friend.
I’d actually prefer him to Brennan but Hobson’s choice.

I like Brennan, he’d be an interesting choice. Billy will put his heart into it anyway. Lot of power up that end of the county now and with last manager too. After that….

Big problem with Billy (or Eddie) is if you’re a young fella who’s a possible county player but maybe undecided about committing and the phone rings and the lad asking you to give up the next 6 to 8 months to football just isn’t of the calibre to swing it.
Then again, who is.

Important to stay on brand.

I hear it’s down to three. Billy, Eddie and the Naas guy, Paul Kelly (?).

Billy must still be strong favourite, Kelly an interesting one and Kinsella just making up the numbers.
