RG was offered big money by Derry, and stayed at Shamrocks for less.
He has a little one now, and whilst I’m sure he’d love to be in Galway, he needs to put some money aside.

Heady days for the big round ball games in Galway. The beach volleyball team are also going very well in the inter-county championship although tonight’s clash with Laois was rained off.
Two wins next weekend might have me spontaneously combust
It was thorough and should have been by more. Longford are in poor shape though. Difficult to read too much into it. Lomboto put in a good shift but is he one of these players in limbo, a bit better than First Divison but struggles at the top level?
