Getting Back in the Game/you'd want your head examined to referee a ladies football match

This, gentlemen, is Central Coast Stadium. A 20000 seater with beautiful views out to Brisbane Water. Allessandro Del Piero, Dwight Yorke, Romario and Pierre Littbarski have all played here.
Next Saturday I’ll be playing the Central Coast Football Association O45 B’s final at this ground.

We’ve played 20 games this season, 20 wins, +68 goal difference. We’d better fucking win the final.

21 games won.
2-0, fucking hell that was brilliant, but my god it was hard work.
I worked my absolute arse offf today, I passed the ball so we’ll. It was so good to play on a nice pitch with actual grass.
But the ball, Christ, it was like kicking a rock. I complained to the red about it but he told me to mind my business. Absolutely bizarre. I was getting a cross in form the left wing at one stage and just couldn’t curl it as the ball was a joke. I’ve done a thousand of these crosses.
Our 35 A’s were in after us and unfortunately lost. God knows the club needs success as our senior grade teams have been relegated this year.
Other than us, the only success story this year is the U14A’s who have been brilliant, coached by two club stalwarts, Ken and Aaron. We have some future.
For the time being though, the old boys playing good football are the best thing about the club.
I’m so lucky to be part of this.

Potentially the last last last dance tonight. Divisional championship semi. Win and we’re into the final, along with a county quarter. Lose and that’s it.

Would be great for the club for the team to move up a level. The junior b is a shit show with walkovers etc.

I’ve a great way about me as an umpire, I’d happily give you a dig out mate.

I wonder are over 45s going to be the next thing here. Masters gaa crept up to over 40s but soccer is still at 35. Big difference between a 35 and a 45 year old though. Next stop the priests over 75

Better than umpires from each club.

most lads are still togging out in the league proper at 35, especially if they’re any use

In fairness, I’d say @Fagan_ODowd’s hurling background had him well tuned to beat you mate.

I’d imagine you’d be more of a clay court specialist

Weather.
When Semple Stadium wasn’t playable it looked ominous for a bog on the side of a hill in West Limerick.
