The one thing you don’t want to do is come across as needy. You need to let her initiate the next communication (if there is one). Her being’ quite distant’ could be her polite way of saying that she is not interested.
She’s ignored my subsequent text. My heartstrings are being played with, I’m not able for this.
This is my gut feeling, I think I will save my pride even though I really like this girl. I guess I fall in love easily, what baffles me is how things could go so much south after such a lovely night.

A 2 texts from you and 1 from her scenario is not uncommon at all, pal. She might text you in a day or two and refer to something you said in your latter text. Hold firm and retain your composure.
