When the bubbles stop its game over
That’s not what we were wondering about mate.
We kind of gathered that…
The polythene sheets cost 250 notes each, that was = 5 collie pups in old money, and there were 2 sheets of plastic destroyed
Fair enough.
How big a hole could a pup chew? Could he not of taped up the hole?
No, the dog was clearly a bad egg, if he got away with that it would have led to other misdemeanours. It was tough watching it but you did get the sense that natural justice was being properly administered
And how did you feel after you saw the puppy being drowned in front of you?
I felt sorry for him at the time, but after spending 3 hours in the dark re-covering the pit I could see both sides of it
One little hole . Poor pup. Must have been good silage tho!
I suppose ye ate the dog afterwards too ye savages.
Kid, could you please go over to Animals & Pets Forum on boards.ie and post that story.
Took on an army of mice in the old landlord’s gaff once. His fear of the creatures left me as chief executioner. When they stopped being scared of the dart guns I knew it was time to act. Managed to stare one to death. Caught another in a brown bag and the landlord’s brother(also afraid of them) jumped up and down on it in the back garden. Most of em went the old fashioned way in a trap.
I also helped castrate a young bull once. I held him and the other lad used a rusty penknife for the deed. I remember thinking it was a bit unfair at the time.
That cunt of a dog.
Me in my innocence assumed the dog was ruined because it had eaten plastic and the uncle killed it as a mercy to it.
Was your uncle prosecuted for this?
Yes I killed a mouse one time in my bathroom in the Bronx. I didn’t really want to kill it and I tried shooing it, but it was riding the hole off the pink bath mat and was distracted. I had to get the sweeping brush in the end and cleave it. I think he died happy.

You have obviously never covered a silage pit pal.
I think you can safely assume that I have never covered a silage pit
Nevin Spence clearly didnt feel that way about his dog
