I could do with the doubles/trebles being bigger. They could bring in a new board for Senior (regular size beds) Intermediate (slightly bigger beds) and junior players(large beds).A bit like handicap in golf or grading soccer/ gaa.
Funnily enough thereâs handicapping in snooker at amateur level (handicap done on the points you start on in a competitive match).
Darts could do with same if itâs not already there!
Do do do do do do do do do do do do do - hey hey hey
Those 16 words revolutionised the sport
I love both but at this moment tis darts and it aint even close.

These are my opinions, if you donât like them, I have some more that may interest you.
Thats the nub of it, ask any normal sports fan where they would rather be, Sheffiled or the All Pally? The crucible is one of the iconic sporting venues globally, the people who attend the World Snooker championship are one of the most knowledgeable, youâd get a bottle of stella across the head at the darts
Darts eclipsed snooker a long time ago.
In my home town darts is huge. In fact in inter pub leagues are keeping many of the pubs going.
Iâd say the vast majority wouldnât know a snooker player outside Ronnie OâSullivan.
The snowflake generation donât have the time, patience or attention span for a slow burner like a snooker match, 5 days of a test cricket match, baseball or chess. They have the attention span of a goldfish.
Theyâre more suited to geriatrics like yourself.
Lot of truth in that but dont forget they will go full retard meltdown if they fail.
Failure aint in their vocabulary, the precious pets.
Darts also sold their soul to the highest bidder long ago with the Oi Oi Oi brigade. The very best of order please is long gone.
The world snooker championship is my favourite sporting tournament of the year.
Last year was just brilliant.
I think it was the move to the Alexandra Palace that finished it for me. It was full of nonsense before then but at that point it seemed to crossover to being more about the attendees trying to be gas.
I also think it peaked with the Barney and Taylor final.
I dont mind watching darts on TV and its grand to have it on in a pub at Christmas, but as a live spectator its probably the most uncomfortable Iâve ever had.
I was joking there but thanks
Iâd echo what @peddlerscross said about attending the darts in person. Absolutely painful. Got the ticket for free and wouldnât return even if it was free again.
