Your average busker has more music in them.
music with no melody
Iāll have to agree with Tase and Tots here.
Not a musician.

Heās not merely a musician. Heās a God.
A warrior poet
FFS.
Heās a turd
Damien Dempsey gives me hope.
In what sense, pal?
That he can one day fool people into thinking heās talented.
I pitty the people who knock him or donāt rate his music for they are the true losers in all of this. Damo fills me joy, inspiration and many other wonderful emotions. To quote the wonderful Kate Tempest from their wonderful collaboration Born Without Hate - āyou cannot love what you are scared ofā & āwhat is pleasure to the man that has never known painā
Wonderful!

Go to a live gig sometimeā¦ youā'll never look back.
You sound like a teenage girl trying to defend her lust filled crush on some geebag.
i know you are but what am I?
High point was without doubt Chris & Stevie. My lady-friend became very emotional throughout the song as Damien powerfully explained the reason for the song.
I really enjoyed Bustin outta here as well. It seems more mainstream than most of Damien,s stuff without completely losing his usual style.
Special mention for Eamonn De Barra, god that man can play the tin whistle beautifully, and John McLoughlin was brilliant throughout also.
A great night out in Thurles.
Itās amazing the amount of vitriol he inspires. Iām just glad Iām on the side of the believers.
Was there many at it Harry?
Was near full Thraw, i reckon there was roughly 225 seated.
