Yes, yes it will…
Did you ever look into a mesh or wifi extension solution?

I have an extender plugged into the wall which is ok.
I’m fucking sick of wasting time and money on things that don’t work.
The one that’s supposed to use your wiring didn’t, but it’s on a different circuit to the router, so how could it ??
Two others tried and failed.
This one runs Netflix and Amazon prime on the telly. It’s not good enough to run any iotv or live streaming though, so it’s not great.
If I could get a mesh system I knew would work it’d be brilliant.
I just bought b&o blurooth headphones as it transpires my new phone won’t take a headphone jack. Won’t fucking connect to my phone.
I have no luck with these things.
Have you looked into google mesh?
No.
What’s so fucking funny??
Get someone savvy to come out and take a look mate. It’s hard do it remotely
It’s hard to find someone tbh.
You in didsbury? My brother in law was an engineer and lived there. I can ask him if he’d recommend someone
It’s like asking will this car work on the road
I tried a car analogy a while ago. It didnt go down well
I don’t honestly know. It was the first Stand Alone PC I saw recommended by a PC review website. Often you’d look at ten more and then go back to the first one.
There is a few things you need to do.
Go to the spot where you want to put this PC with one or all of your portables and check if the WiFi there is good enough.
Go to that spot again and try print to your printer. Be it WiFi or Bluetooth.
That PC has an i7 processor. That’s tasty enough. Perhaps an i5 would do you.
That PC has only a 500 GB SSD hard drive. That means it will be like a bullet but capable of holding only 100 movies or 5000 photos. You wouldn’t be long eating up that. So depending on what you want to use it for. You could store stuff in a cloud but that costs money ongoing. Other option is add a 1 TB internal hard drive and use it for storage only. It gives you plenty of options on the build. I don’t think an MS office licence was included either.
Have a think about backing up in general and what it would mean if you were to loose stuff through hardware failure.
I might try have a look around later if I get a chance.
I’m not entirely sure you’d need this high spec a PC bar you were doing a lot of online gaming. If it’s so your missus can look at photos then this is definitely overkill.
Sssssh it can run on the Wifey and it ain’t a big ugly box. It might even connect to the printer. It’s perfect.
By the sounds of it he’d get away with one of those USB photo frames you can buy in the pound shop
It will be great for his wife to have a big monitor in the kitchen to see pictures of @flattythehurdler 's big gomey head.
Even my wife is cooking from recipes online now.
Is that why you were looking for a Chinese the other night?
She gets everything once a week now, and once only…
Everything?
