Had Martin O Neill got to do that for a crust after leaving Sunderland ?

Jesus fucking Christ.

Worse again.

If the same 96 were blown to bits in the middle-of-the leppings lane by an ira bomb the likes of @Watch_The_Break and @farmerinthecity would be writing songs about it.

also quite funny to see dodgy say fans who had a drink before the game contributed to the disaster, considering he has said heā€™ll have 5 pints before going into the Kilkenny game this week.

I also dont see why Liverpool fans need to be campaigning about justice for Heysel? Was there a cover up there? Were the Juve fans accused of causing their own deaths and the surviving supporters abusing the dead? Was there falsified police accounts submitted? Were the autopsy reports falsified and doctored? Were emergency services prevented from getting to the ground? From what I know of Heysel and the Juve fans, a lot of them are disappointed with their own club and their inadequate response and support to the families.

There was 15 or so Liverpool fans jailed as a result of it. The club and other English clubs were banned in Europe from it. The head police captain from Brussels was charged with manslaughter. Other police and officials were also charged and prosecuted over it. The stadium was condemned. What other justice could be sought for Heysel, or what relevance has it whatsoever to Hillsborough, other than the obvious club rivalry ā€œI hate Liverpool cuntsā€ which seems to be the main point of the rant. There is no doubt there should be a shame on Liverpool and a stain associated with them as a result of what happened in Heysel, and Juve fans absolutely have a right to hate the club and the supporters. But what has that to do with Hillsborough, other than to score internet points off the deaths of 96 people.

You can see the same type of spin being spun in parts about the Grenfell fire. How they contributed to the fire themselves. The British establishment and gutter press dont really seem to learn from their mistakes against the working classes there.

Mike is normally harmless.

Since he rear ended that car heā€™s been a fucking nuisance here with his lame comedy.

Thereā€™s no point trying to present further evidence to people who still want to blame the fans. The evidence has been there for a long time. They just have a deep contempt for the sort of people who died at Hillsborough. They will talk in the same fashion about the Grenfell dead once they start to see think that theyā€™ll get away with it. Itā€™s the same perverse mindset that led the Sun to cover it they way they did. Itā€™s not like there was no evidence to the contrary, they just werenā€™t interested in it. Some people are just cunts.

Fuck off Harry. Youā€™re like Victor fucking Meldrew around here lately. Maybe you need to talk to your supplier, see if he can sort you out with something stronger

Shut up Fr Trendy.

Go shit in your hat.

Donā€™t talk to me about perverse mindsets kid, we all know your history when it comes to Waterford hurlers and your sneaky dirty little attempt to smear some of them with child abuse claims.

39 innocent football fans went to a game and never came home. Every bit as tragic as what happened in Sheffield.

Whereā€™s the big commemoration for that event every May? Liverpool quite rightly mark the anniversary of Hillsborough every year - how does the club support the families of the 39 deceased on the other hand? They have made it clear their main focus is still helping the families of those tragically taken in Sheffield - what about the families of the 39? What support do they get?

Liverpool didnā€™t even formally apologise to juventus until a good twenty years later - when they conveniently happened to draw each other in Europe. The response of those in the away end at Anfield that night - backs turned to the pitch, middle fingers raised - sums up what they thought of that apology.

ā€œBut Liverpool apologised, what more can they do?ā€

You can ask the exact same question of The Sun newspaper who have apologised numerous times for their erroneous reporting in the aftermath of Hillsborough.

An apology seems acceptable for killing people - 14 Liverpool fans done for manslaughter - but not acceptable for an innacurate newspaper report that theyā€™ve subsequently retracted and apologised for countless times. Why is that?

Why the hypocrisy?

LFC as a club to take their share of the blame. The official video of their history excludes this

We have @Fran saying LFC fans are the greatest in the world so they either donā€™t give a shit about this or have written it out of existence.

Also it needs to be pointed out that this is not the first LFC cause that @Horsebox has got so animated about. who can forget him arriving at the 2012 summer jamboree with his free Michael shields t-shirt - cringe

true pal. but leave poor @fran and @Horsebox alone, they are harmless and mean no ill.

Do Juve have the disaster in their official video?

I believe so

thats great news. I was lead to believe that Juve fans were annoyed at their club for the lack of recognition of the tragic event and their chairman was more interested in the winning of the cup rather than the deaths of supporters of his club at the time.

Liverpool too it seemed were happy to move on from the disaster and not make any reference to it. They belatedly did at the CL game in 05 and there is a remembrance plaque at Anfield for the Heysel victims, but it was all a little bit long about happening.
