Holiday destinations for the accompanied traveller

Iā€™ll check it out

Sanguli resort and Cambrils resort in Salou might be worth exploring as well, plenty of toddler pools in both

We paid more than that for flights to France this June that we booked the end of January. They were literally half the price in May, but youā€™d want to be fairly ballsy to take that gamble with the family holiday.

Ryanair have a decent feature now that letā€™s you split the cost of family flights. Half on booking then the other half within a month of departure.

Yeah but you physically have to make the second payment. I thought it would sweep it from my account but they just cancelled the flights and put the money in my wallet. When I discovered it I had to rebook at 50% dearer and still couldnā€™t access my credit to pay for it.

Might be off the beaten track but if anyone staying in Granada during the summer and wants a really nice place just outside city in Monschil, have a look at La Almunia del Valle. Highly recommend but you need a car. Fresh at night.

Oh man :upside_down_face:
I was very wary of that happening as Iā€™d always everything from Ryanair is a scam, so i was just checking the emails regularly and to be fair they did remind me when it was due but only with a week to go.

Going to alvor for 5 days followed by olhao for 3 days at the end of this month.
Booked flights 3 weeks ago, a little over 400 euros total for two of us from Shannon.

Pity I booked mine under a now defunct email so no warnings received :slightly_frowning_face:

Cambrils - fly to Reus

Tavira and Estoi both worth a visit. I had some of the best coffees ever in both of those places. But you just need to get off the main street with the multilingual menus and photos of food to find them. And Cacela Velha (avoid the bar with the pictures of food)

Have been to Tavira but not Estoi.

A ferry to the sand island beaches is the thing to do.

Biarritz and san sebastian next week. Never been

Any recommendations on sights or grub?

You literally canā€™t go wrong in San SebastiĆ”n for grub

Anywhere in San Sebastian. Thereā€™s a Galician restaurant there that did a fine feed. San Sebastian is beautiful. A classic old money European city. Biarritz, in my opinion, isnā€™t a patch on it, though the Basque museum in Bayonne is worth a look if itā€™s too hot or raining.
If you are driving to San Seb, there is a town on the spanish side Hondaribbia, which is worth a visit. The town on the French side is a bit shitty, no idea what the French are up to with their towns! The houses near the beach on the French side are lovely, but the town itself not so much, and they built some awful looking casino on the beach.
St Jean de Luz also worth a look on the way down towards Spain. If you have the motor, Pasai Donibane / San Pedro also worth a look.
In San Sebastian, you can get a funicular up to the old amusement park. Some lovely views from the top.

Sound, appreciate it. There for 8 days so will likely grab a rental and have a poke around the place

Youā€™ll get to see a good bit so. Yerra anywhere on that coast there in France is nice. Biarritz is grand, but I had heard so much about it before I ever got there, I was expecting something else maybe. Surprised how much Basque is spoken around there as well

ā€œla casa de galiciaā€ is the restaurant. A fine lunch time feed, I think they had a lunch menu which was reasonable and if you like fish better again.

That was my second visit to Nashville and it wonā€™t be my last.

Itā€™s an absolutely fantastic spot. The place is on wheels all day every day. People are so sound too.
