Very good hotel for small kids

Yes…if kids are old enough grand climbing zone out back…

4 and 2 so won’t be old enough for that but should be enough to keep us busy

There’s a little play centre there as well for little ones,
There’s not a whole lot to do in Clon to be honest but it’s close enough to the rest of West Cork, a gateway as they say. Lovely beaches etc

Head down to long strand to the fish basket for an unbelievable feed

I’m pretty familiar with West Cork have done two trips to Glengarriff in the past few years so this will be a bit different. Will keep it to the South West corner this time rather than Beara and Bantry area.

170 for a hotel in lisdoonvarna mid week

€250 in cork for middle of next week.

+1 for the Maryborough. Stayed there and in the Hayfield Manor on two separate occasions a few months ago. Very disappointed with Hayfield Manor but I think they saw the vintage County Junior B final gear bag when I was checking in and put us in the plebs wing…

The rooms are very average there IMO. It’s dated and would lag a long way behind the river Lee or the montenotte or even the dean if you were going away with herself

The Montenotte Hotel is a fine hotel. So it is.

Hotels really take the piss:

€340 per night (FREE Breakfast included)
